Dancing is an activity that requires a person to fully immerse themselves in their movements

and music at the moment. Dancing is an ideal way to help relieve stress while stretching and
flexing all your tired, cramped, or neglected muscles and joints. Especially after a day or even
several hours of sitting at your office or school desk while concentrating on daily work or
studies, dancing can be relaxing, invigorating, and inspiring. Dancing is a way to express
yourself not only to others but to yourself as well in an artistic and productive way.

Dancing can eliminate bothersome feeling of stress as it is enhancing moods and sharpen
mental focus. It let us feel stress-free, rejuvenated, youthful, limber, and strong from dancing the
feelings out. You will also enjoy better mental focus throughout your evening and night activities
and sleep more soundly afterward.

There are times when life can become overwhelming and stressful making you look for an
escape from it all. By dancing it out you’re not only releasing your frustrations and anger but
you’re also releasing the stress and worries with every move you do. Dancing helps you stay
not only physically fit and healthy, but it also keeps your mental and emotional health strong.
Moreover, it improves self-esteem and self-confidence, and helps develop self-image and self-
worth of a person. When we dance, our brain releases endorphins, the happy hormones, that
help in reducing stress and makes us feel calm, relaxed, and happy.

So next time you feel stressed, close your eyes, and let those muscles loose while swaying
away with the music.
