    I hereby respectfully address you in order to draw your attention to the negative effects
    generated by the multiple discharges from the wastewater treatment plant in the city of
    Valledupar.
    The Wastewater Treatment Plant "EDAR-Salguero" located in the city of Valledupar-
    Cesar presents deficiencies in its operation, thus causing failures in the quality of the
    effluent and the presence of high concentrations of pollutants, mainly those related to
    organic matter (BOD5, COD, SST), fecal coliforms and nutrients, which are dumped
    daily on an extension of the Cesar river located between the city of Valledupar and the
    municipality of Cesar.
    Due to the environmental and social problems that are generated, it is necessary to
    seek pollution mitigation and control measures as soon as possible, otherwise the
    corresponding complaints will be made before corpocesar. I remain attentive to your
    answer.
