What is a live blog?

A live blog is a blog of a great importance that keeps the readers informed. The
blog is presented in a written form and is constantly updating. Every next article
adds additional information on the event, subject or an accident.
To write a live blog a journalist should:
- Choose a topic that is sufficiently great or important to be worthy of
attention; noteworthy
- Remember that the first article must inform the reader in brief, give the
general information.
- As the information appears, the article should prove or refute the statements
that were given in the first paragraphs.
- Every new article/twit that appears should be concise.
- Photos, illustrations, and quotes are welcomed
- Write the last updates in a way so that they contain all the possible
information and explain the reader the cause, context, and consequences.

Task 2.
Press release is a form of a storytelling that was invented by a journalist named Ivy
Lee. The original purpose of the statement was to explain the facts of the train crash
before journalists could put a negative spin on it. The idea and the format were so
simple and creative that it became a permanent part of the journalism. Businessmen
quickly found ways to use press releases for announcing their own new products or
services. The research in this area is extremely important and the story should come
from a reliable journalist. Nowadays press release became an essential part of
marketing.
