Task 2: People should look after their health for personal benefits, rather than

a duty for a society. What extent do you agree or disagree?

It is said by many people that residents should take care of their health as a duty for
society instead of doing so to benefit themselves individually. From my
perspective, I contend this trend leads to both advantages and disadvantages.
On the one hand, there are several reasons why people should take care of their
health. First and foremost, taking regular medical checkups leads to early
diagnosis, which helps increase the chance of diseases being cured. As a result,
they can prolong their life. For example, lung cancer and blood cancer are very
difficult to treat, but if detected at an early stage, the patient has a better chance of
survival. Second, taking care of your health is also a way to develop the country.
Thanks to this, the government and the health sector will both benefit positively
because costs for the health sector will be reduced and labor productivity will be
increased
Nevertheless, health care is also a responsibility of people towards society. First,
citizens can contract diseases from pandemics. For example, during the covid 19
pandemic, if you do not comply with the medical declaration, you will be at risk of
inflection and affect the community. In addition, when numerous people have
severe illnesses at the same time, this will become, a heavy burden for the
healthcare system. According to the newspaper, a lot of people having a severe
illness related to lungs need a substantial number of ventilators, but all hospitals in
Vietnam cannot cope with this demand.
In conclusion, I support the view that not only can people who maintain their
health well achieve good personal effects, but it is also their responsibility towards
society.
