Rakomelo is wonderful on its own or with a nice dessert. This delicious liqueur is soothingly smooth
and tantalisingly moreish. Is it Brandy, or is it something else? Yes, in some ways, but so much
better! You must taste this unique spirit, which is prepared according to a secret formula that dates
back to the Byzantine Monks in the year 330 AD. That, my friends, is Greek custom. Tsipouro means
"pomace brandy" in Greek. In our situation, however, this is a misconception. Pomace refers to the
skins, leaves, and twigs of a grapevine. We don't make use of them. Instead, we utilise only softly
pressed pure grape juice, which is delicately distilled twice for maximum smoothness.

As a result, the hallmark of this classic Greek-style brandy is just delicate, mildly fragrant flavours.
Because our Tsipouro has no aniseed flavour (unlike our Ouzo or Tsipouro with Aniseed), it provides
the foundation for our other unrivalled liquor creations. This specific spirit is appropriate for any
occasion. As an aperitif served over ice or on its own, or as a delectable after-dinner drink to sip and
relax with. Made from premium grapes grown in the Adelaide Hills area of South Australia. Tsipouro
is best served straight (or on ice), allowing the rich flavours and luscious aromas to emerge. With this
award-winning cocktail, you can bring the finest of the Mediterranean to your table! - Best and Gold
Alternate Spirit Awards. Tsipouro drink, like our Traditional Tsipouro, means "Pomace Brandy" in
Greek. This extraordinary spirit is then blended with just aniseed, which perfectly complements the
delicate but complex flavours of our traditional tsipouro to provide a genuinely Mediterranean
experience.
