Hey everyone!

Alhamdulillah, I am happy to share the great news that I have completed my Masters of Mass
Communication from UiTM Shah Alam with a 3.76 CGPA. The past two years have been a crazy
roller coaster ride. Trying to balance life by juggling working as a full-time marketer and a part-
time student surely provided me with amazing exposure and a wider perspective in life, both
personal and career-wise.

I am beyond grateful and blessed to be getting 4 flats for my final semester, which was my
favourite semester of all. My immense appreciation goes to my honourable guide, a great and
wonderful lecturer and a friend indeed, Dr. Wardatul Hayat Adnan who despite all the challenges
we had to go through especially during the unprecedented global pandemic of COVID-19, and
tight schedule made out time to go through my dissertation with all mistakes and help make the
necessary corrections and still never gave up on me and in her own way encouraged me to carry
on to the end. Not to forget, to every one of the lecturers that I have come across within this
journey. I truly enjoyed all of the materials that we were studying about which I always ended up
finding them diverse and inclusive. As a student, I definitely learned a lot through our open
dialogue in every class and the chance to make use of some creativity with our assignments
along the way.

The next plan in my checklist would be to pursue my PhD but until then, I am going to need to
immerse myself with a thorough reading and preparation for my writing. Currently, I am looking
to write about the gap between human adaptation with communication technologies.
Technology is indeed one of the catalysts that drive forces of the future as it transforms our lives
while shaping our future at unprecedented rates, with far-reaching implications that we cannot
begin to foresee or define.

It is a long way to go, but as Aristotle famously wrote, "The more you know, the more you realize
you don't know" and I wish to be humble, to be a student, always. 🤓

I don’t know about you but I’m feeling 22! (God knows how long i waited to use this caption 🤣)
So grateful to be blessed with many good things this year, so far. Managed to bag another deans
list for my 6th semester and can’t wait to enter my LLB year in several days! Also very happy that
the paper i wrote with my fyp team has been approved and will be published on 1st October.
Super happy and planning to try and publish more with different focus area. Another year
hopefully wiser and happier!
