ELEMENTS AND PROCESS OF COMMUNICATION

1.
A. Sender and Receiver
● A Sender is an individual who tries to communicate as much as
possible to the Receiver, which is the one responsible in decoding the
sender's message.

B. Sender, Channel and Message

● A Sender or communicator is the individual who initiates a Message
that contains information in which he/she uses a Channel which is a
medium, mean, manner or method used to to transmit the message
necessary needed to be given directly to the receiver.

C. Receiver and Feedback

● Feedback is the response of the Receiver to the sender’s message
which can be shown through verbal and non-verbal communication,
oral, written or even email.

1.
I recall wherein I met my long distant cousin and whom I never seen
before that just came home from the U.S, I initiated the talk but I then realize
that he was quiet due to him being deaf and unable to speak properly, so I
adjusted and wrote down what I wanted to say in a pen and paper and we
exchanged words, and that made our conversation meaningful and refrained
it from being awkward.
2.
The most necessary thing to do is mentally visualize the
communication from the receiver's point of view for example adjusting on
how the receiver will be able to communicate back. Both must try to
communicate one way or another so they can understand and give back
feedback and information.
