1. What do you think about the formal and informal greeting custom around the world?

Answer: In my opinion, the differences in greetings in the world are different from one
another. This is because the culture of each country is different. This is a natural thing.
Although sometimes we are not familiar with the greeting, it doesn't matter. Because we
can get to know the culture of each country.

2. Why do we need to know the other country’s culture before travelling?

Answer: In my opinion, we should know the culture of other countries before visiting
there as a form of respecting and appreciating their culture. Besides that, knowing their
culture we will not be confused when visiting there.

3. What do you think about different way of greeting between Indian people and Arab?

Answer: In my opinion, India and Arabi have different cultures in greeting. In India,
greeting with both hands on the chest, while in Arabia a close male friend or colleagues
hugs and kisses both cheeks, and shakes hands with the right hand. Indians and Arabs
have similarities in greeting, which is not allowed to touch the opposite sex. In my
opinion, this is one of the ways to honor a woman by not touching her. And for Arab men
it is natural to do that because they are close friends and colleagues.

4. What do you think about the different way of greeting between Rusia and USA?

Answer: In my opinion, Russia and USA have different cultures in greeting. In Russia a
firm handshake and direct eye contact are commonplace whereas in the USA only men
shake hands and kiss on the cheek when they know them well, but when they are not well
acquainted just smile and say hello or hi. Then, in Russia it is considered dashing to kiss
a woman's cheeks and hands. In my opinion, the two cultures in greeting the two
countries are only natural because that is the culture they are used to.
