Dear Colleagues
On behalf of the LAB Division, we would like to inform you about the launch of the Group Phase-
Out List 2021. The spreadsheet format of the list already last year replaced different PDFs and
includes products of from LAB as well as all the other divisions.

MO Benefits
 Service: Support MOs to manage contract renewals with contract renewals lists. This activity
will not only create new service opportunities but also cross-leads for product replacement.
 Product: Leverage for OPRI Alerts as well as OPRI target lists and other business
opportunities.
 Local Processes: Improved MO inventory management.

Scope
The intended purpose of the list is to provide MOs transparency on the discontinuation of products
as well as related services:
 Prod-In date of product introduction
 Prod-out date of product discontinuation / product retirement
 Product: production reduced to small volume to serve special markets only
 Service: discontinuation of installation and warranty related services, e.g.
- Extended Care
- Installation Pacs and related offerings
 Phase-out date of spare parts discontinuation / product obsolescence
 Service: discontinuation of services that require parts, e.g.
- Comprehensive Care and related offerings

The LAB section of the Group Phase-Out list includes products of the following SBUs:

 LabTec Balances & Moisture (without weights)
 LabTec Weighing Solutions
 ANA AnaChem
 ANA MatChar
 ANA pH Lab
 Rainin
