General comment: Today we covered the text about a birthday gift. The following vocabulary items were
included: worktable, elf, cloth, wrapped, tool, hammer. Vic worked skillfully at the lesson today. He was
fast to elicit the targeted vocabulary and could answer the text-related questions as well. He did struggle
with providing exemplary sentences though, and is to focus on new collocates in terms of better sentence
structuring:
I WRAP the gift IN PAPER.
I MAKE a toy AT a worktable.

He also did great in the dialogue part. Well done today Jerry! Keep up the good work!

Unfortunately, Sofia was late for the class which limited her participation in the lesson activities.

Due to certain technical difficulties he experienced William’s overall participation was affected. He could

questions and define the new vocabulary for that matter. She was strong in class discussion and very
