HW Submission Instructions

Please read the following Instructions carefully. Submitting your HW with the following format is very important and
will have an effect on your HW score. Before you upload your HW, be sure you have prepared it using the following
instructions.

Your final submission must include:

1)SAS Codes

2)Word/PDF report file

Details:

1) SAS Code
• Prepare one SAS Code file for each question that requires coding. The file names should be with the
following format: “SAScode_Q1”, “SAScode_Q2”, …
(For example, if a HW has 3 questions, you have to have 3 SAS code files in your submission.)
• If a question has sub-questions, use comments in your code to show which sub-question you are
answering.

2) Word/PDF report file

• The file name should be with the following format “yourname_report”
• upload both word and pdf files
• Do not include SAS code in your report. Only include the final result and output you get from your
code. If your results are long, you do not need to include all of it, just include part of it.
• Try to clearly write your interpretation and understanding of the results.

While writing your report, keep in mind that it can be a helpful practice for your written presentation skills.
Writing a clear and understandable report is very important to show how much effort you have put
towards your work. A well written report is a file that the reader can easily follow the steps and
explanations of the writer. Use this requirement of the course as an opportunity to practice your writing
skills. It will surely help you in many aspects of your career.

Also, as a general rule, it is important that your submitted files are your own honest work. See HWs as learning
opportunities and with this mindset, you will surely enjoy the time you spend on solving the problems!
