The goal is to support the people of the country to attain the highest level of health through
strengthening the health system on the principles of equity, fairness, and responsiveness with emphasis
on the poor and marginalised.

So, let's look at the co functions.

The first one is providing leadership on matters critical to health and engaging in partnerships where
joint action is needed.

The second one. Shaping the research agenda and stimulating the generation, translation, and
dissemination of valuable knowledge.

The next one is setting norms and standards, and promoting and monitoring their implementation.

The fourth one is articulating ethical and evidence-based policy options.

and the fifth one providing Technical Support, catalysing change, and building sustainable institutional
capacity.

And the 6th one is monitoring the health situation and assessing health trends.

As a conclusion we can see although WHO has both opportunities and challenges, its contribution is
great to increase the quality of life and living standard globally.
