1. NAME OF THE EVENT: SCIENCE’S ARDOUR

VENUE: MS TEAMS (Break out rooms)
CONDUCTED BY: RESPECTIVE PHYSICS/CHEMISTRY TEACHERS
DETAILS:
ROUND- 1 (4th OCTOBER)
➢ A list of some interesting topics will be provided to the students during the class on
the day of the event.
➢ Students will be divided in groups through the break out room option (automatic
grouping).
➢ Each group will choose a topic from the given list (displayed earlier) and they will be
given 15 minutes to prepare on that theme.
➢ What do they need to prepare?
They need to explain about that topic for which they can create their own idea in the
form of story/ role play/ presentation through G.O. or poster etc.
Eg- REFLECTION OF LIGHT- definition, example, application in daily life etc.
➢ During the span of 15 minutes, the teacher will enter the break out rooms to check the
topics selected by the different groups.
➢ After 15 minutes (when break rooms are closed), all the students will return to the
main meeting room. Each group will present its work (time duration- 2 minutes).

JUDGEMENT CRITERIA:
➢ One group from each section will be selected for the final round (ROUND-2) on the
basis of the following parameters-

Creativity of the presentation,

Team work and
Content.

ROUND-2 (4th OCTOBER, 4pm)

Meeting link for round 2 will be shared with the selected teams only.
 ➢ Students will be divided in groups through the break out room option (section-wise
manual grouping).
➢ The 8 selected teams (one from each section) will be given 15 minutes for the task
which will be explained during the meeting only.
➢ After 15 minutes, each group will present their task.

JUDGEMENT CRITERIA:
➢ Winner will be declared on the basis of the following parameters-
Team work,
Presentation and
Creativity and the clarity in conveying the idea.

2. NAME OF THE EVENT: WORD SCRAMBLE PUZZLE

VENUE: MS TEAMS
CONDUCTED BY: RESPECTIVE BIOLOGY TEACHERS
DETAILS:
➢ Class will be divided into groups of maximum 6 members in each group.
➢ Jumbled science terms will be displayed for 30 seconds; student will unjumble the
word and define it also.

JUDGEMENT CRITERIA:
➢ Team with highest correct answers will be the winner.

3. NAME OF THE EVENT: SCIENCE SPARKS

VENUE: MS TEAMS
CONDUCTED BY: RESPECTIVE PHYSICS/CHEMISTRY TEACHERS
DETAILS:
➢ Students will select any one sub-topic/ activity from the topics-Force, Pressure,
Friction; Electric current and its chemical effects.
➢ They will prepare a video recording in mp4 (maximum duration-2minutes) for the
same, demonstrating the activity with the help of resources available at home.
➢ The event will be conducted by the respective science teachers in their period on 6th
October, and the students will play their videos during their respective classes.
➢ Videos will be sent to the respective subject teacher also.
