KRI Nanggala 402 Report text

The submarine KRI Nanggala 402 allegedly cracked when it sank in the waters of the
Bali Sea, Wednesday morning (21/4/2021).
The allegation was based on the findings of an oil spill and a number of items that
should have been on the ship.
On the basis of these findings, the TNI determined the status of KRI Nanggala 402 to
be a sub-sink alias shipwreck.
The US Navy's P-8 Poseidon aircraft will conduct a search for the submarine, KRI
Nanggala-402, which was lost in Bali waters, on Saturday afternoon.
Not only that, the search also involved ships from other countries, such as HMAS
Ballarat, HMAS Sirius from Australia, the MV Swift Rescue ship from Singapore and
others.
The search area for the KRI Nanggala 402 submarine is still focused on nine points,
including around Celukan Bawang.
Combing is also adjusted to the finding of oil spills and large magnetic forces.
KRI Rigel-933 from the Indonesian Navy Hydro-Oceanograph Center was also
deployed in the search for the German-made submarine.
