In language, correct usage must be used in one’s profession.

According to the book, variety of English

language exist in many parts of the world such as America, Canada, Australia, England and even in the
Philippines where we use English as our secondary language. Just like the English language, every
profession has also variety of languages which what we call the jargon or the terms that can only be
used in the specific profession. That is why correct language must be used to reduce confusion or avoid
miscommunication most especially if two persons talking are from the different field of work.

And because some languages exist not only in one country, it has also been affected by the culture. We
people do not use the language in the same way. Other people use idiolect which is a language that is
unique to a person. An example of this is when people add the word like in the sentence. For example,
you are like so cool. We also use shortcut words to shorten our sentences like SMH and TBH in writing.
That’s why in every work field, we must use what is acceptable in the context to maintain
professionalism and avoid miscommunication.
