1.  What are the 6 construction phases? Explain each.
-There are six standard stages of development. First and foremost, there is the study
and report stage, which involves an investigation of the customer's needs. The second is the
fundamental plan, which incorporates the planning of specific plan models, primer drawings,
diagram particulars, and a starting feasible expense.The third plan includes the organization of
conclusive plan estimations, development drawings, particulars, and other agreement archives.
The fourth phase is the bidding or negotiating phase, in which the company demonstrates its
assistance to the customer by making an offer for a development project. The fifth stage is the
growth stage, which includes "advice and interviews" on matters relating to his administrations.
Finally, the activity stage is where the consumer or startup receives assistance and the
undertaking is active.
2. What is ‘consultation’ and 'investigation' in the context of civil engineering? Expound
-When a client seeks the expert knowledge and experience of a consulting civil engineer
to assist him in solving any engineering issues, this is known as consultation. Consultations can
be short or protracted, and they may require a significant amount of travel and time from the
expert. While investigation is simply the act of acquiring data, evaluating it, assessing it, and
reporting on it, the hazards in the ground beneath the site cannot be identified without it.

3.  What are the ‘special services’ that civil engineers may provide in a construction
project?  Site an example and provide context.
-Special Services: These services can vary to suit special needs of the client and can
include such diverse activities as: Value Engineering, Appraisal and valuation, Load testing,
Environmental evaluations, Traffic Engineering, Forensic engineering for structural and other
failures, Operational assistance, Materials process design, Pilot studies, Computer modeling,
Safety engineering, Topographic, sounding and boundary survey engineering, Toxic and
hazardous waste evaluation, Permit and application services, Sales and marketing services,
Expert witness, Representation of municipal or private entities in projects proposed for
privatization.
