Answer. What makes it truly Filipino?

I believe this is a Contemporary Art. The paint used is watercolor. The

ground or landscape in this artwork has varied colors and shapes. I view
these as representations on different farmlands that our farmers need to
cultivate and take care. The artwork is quite geometric. The subjects on
the picture are doing a farming technique termed as “Pag-aararo”. It is
the act of using the Kalabaw (water buffalo) to pull a tool that shapes the
rice field back and forth. It depicts the realm of Filipino farmers as it
showcases the national animal of the Philippines and a farmer clad in a
blue shirt with wave patterns.

2-3. What do these paintings have in common?

The most prominent observation I could say is that the subjects are not
staring directly forward. The artworks depicted a candid scene because
all of them are just doing something that they always do. All subjects
upholds brown skin. All are oil paintings. The vibes they give off are
scenes same as the countryside by the sea.
