This chapter presents the findings of the study based on the gathered data
together with the conclusion and recommendations drawn from the findings and
conclusions.
With the data gathered, interpreted and analyzed data, there is sufficient
evidence that the null hypothesis is rejected and the entire hypothesis is accepted. The
researchers used the correlational method which is used to study the relationship between
the stability of the internet and its impact to the effectiveness of online distance learning.
The researchers infer that having an unstable internet connection will result from the
students having difficulties like attending their classes, understanding the lesson, and
having an interruption while taking an exam. Also, the late or unable to pass their
activities and examination on time may affect their grades because of having an unstable
internet and the worse is that the students also may miss a class. And having an unstable
internet connection may affect the grades and learning of a student or not. This study
come to an end that online distance learning is useful, but it has a disadvantage: the
instability of every student's internet. The sample size was computed using Slovin’s
recommend that students and teachers should take care of the factors that is essential in
online distance learning. Teachers should always record their class discussions, so the
students can re-watch it if they don't get the lesson easily. Lastly, students should learn to
the effectiveness of online distance learning. This study concludes that the majority of the
respondents are using a WI-FI. The researchers come to the conclusion that internet
connection is essential because the stability of the internet will enable the students to
perform well in class, have an exam on time, and feel comfortable while listening to the
discussion without thinking of the possibility of disconnecting from their online course.
