Battery: The system requires power to function.
This model is powered by a capacitive mesh wound under the armor plates.
Optical Filters: The PAA’s visor grants the viewer Anti-Dazzle, Thermal, and Low-Light Vision.
A projector behind the user’s head sends advanced sensor readouts to the inside of the visor.
Life Support: The user is provided with air (10h) and environment control by the suit.
The Dogfish is designed to keep the user underwater as long as possible.
Radar Array: A 25m radar readout is always visible to the user.
The boundaries and outlines of nearby surfaces are on a round screen by the user’s forehead.
Ballast: The suit will float in water without any active effort.
The buoyant tanks that keep the suit afloat are a lifesaver on long stakeout missions.
Sensor Baffling: The suit does not appear on thermal scans and may not appear on radar scans.
This suit’s advanced stealth system is wildly unpopular as it decreases environment conditioning.
Active Abilities
Climbing Claws: Hand and foot spikes increase checks made to climb by +10
These nasty-looking retractable claws are made for climbing, but they’ll tear flesh from bone well too.
Grappling Hook: 50m cable fires from the left wrist, winches the user. Supports .7T
This microfilament line is renowned not only for its strength, but also for the sharpness of its edges.
Emergency Detonation: The PAA flies apart, blowing itself away from the user.
While the system is completely unusable after detonation, the ejected parts make fine plate armor.
Weapons Systems
Arasaka Pauldron Rakate:
A small micromissile rack unfolds from behind both pauldrons.
Punch Knife:
A broad blade is concealed under the right handguard.
Arasaka Flying Serpent:
This 5.56 autoloading rifle is mounted on the right forearm and linked to the HUD.
The weapon is also removable, and can be hand-held by a foot soldier.
