1. As a student what are the significant message of Our Lady of La Salette to you?

As a Salettinian student for how many years, I think the significant message of Our Lady of La
Salette to me is “reconciliation” – we should be fully reconciled with ourselves, others, nature,
and to God. A lot of negativities hinder us from being happy, a heavy load of discouragement
makes individuals lose their hope, and a great amount of problems turn individuals to be
downhearted to everything, but if we do bring back ourselves to God, there would be no room to
put His mighty name into vain, there would be no chance to be hopeless, and there would be no
place in our hearts to hate Him. Our Lady of La Salette taught me how to be obedient with God’s
will, that no matter how hard things get, no matter how busy are we with our routines, we should
always find time to spend moment with Him, to praise and adore Him, and to spread His
teachings to others. He called us to be His disciples and therefore, we should act according to His
will. All hardships that happening with us is not the desire of God to make humanity suffer from
all the bad things we have done but more of to learn and reflect with our own actions in order to
direct our path into goodness and bountifulness. Nowadays, we are being govern by negativities
that all catastrophes happening in the world is because of Jesus and a lot of us do curse His
beautiful name – this fact should be put into an end, that Jesus is not the one accountable with
our situation but rather, it is us, humankinds, it is the reflection of our decisions and routines.
Our Lady of La Salette remind us to be extra-careful and mindful with everything, that even just
one simple mistake would be reprimanded, even just one awful word you’ve uttered would be a
big deal, and so, we should be responsible enough to look after our actions and decisions in life.
