company. After reviewing your job description and qualifications, it is clear that you are looking for a candidate that is
familiar with the responsibilities associated with the position and can perform them confidently. Given the
requirements, I am certain that I have the necessary skills to adapt and perform the above expectations.

I am a diligent college student (3.64 GPA, BS in Psychology) currently attending Mansfield University of Pennsylvania.
During the course of my academic career, I also managed to gain three years of work experience. I have been working
for the YMCA as a summer day camp counselor. My duties include group supervision of 36 campers, educating groups
of students on lessons including social-emotional development, empathy, and healthy living. I learned valuable
professional skills while occupying this role such as peer counseling, instructional techniques, and conflict resolution.
While working as a classroom assistant and summer day camp counselor, it is a daily occurrence of having to instruct
multiple activities a day. One particular activity is when I led an antibullying activity for the whole group of campers
and was able to keep them interested and engaged. During this, I also had to manage behavioral issues that were also
occurring at this time. Whether working on academic or professional projects, I apply interpersonal, leadership, and
communication skills which I hope to bring into the Group Activity Therapist/Mental Health Liaison role at your
company.
