National integration is a process to achieve unity between people of different religions in order to create

a unified identity of India as "unity of people". It is one and only way to eradicate inequality and other
social problems such as diversity, racial discrimination, etc. in society and strengthen solidarity and
unity. India is a multilingual and multicast country where people of different castes live and speak
different languages. They follow their own customs and traditions according to the religion to which
they belong. In India, there is not only diversity among people of religions, castes, beliefs, colors and
cultures, but also diversity of thought, which is a big problem of inadequate development in India.

There is a high degree of disintegration among the indigenous people, who present a bad scenario
here with communal and other problems. Due to the disintegration in India, we had many social
problems like the partition in India in 1947, the destruction of Babri Masjid in 1992, riots between
people of Muslim and Hindu religions. Barriers of untouchability, language barriers, status barriers, and
other social barriers push us back. The government of India has planned and implemented various rules
and regulations to create an artificial unity in diversity, but only the human mind can bring the natural
unity in diversity between people.
