dated 01.03.2019 issued by the 4th respondent.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing

the respondent to allow two additional marks to the petitioner and consider her

for appointment to the post of Computer Instructors Grade-I.

2.The case of the petitioner is that she participated in the selection process

initiated by the fourth respondent to fill up the post of Computer Instructors

Grade-I and the petitioner was also called for a written examination. According to

the petitioner, there were discrepancies in Question No.116 and Question No.21

and as a result of the same, even though the petitioner had give correct answers

to those questions, she was not allotted marks. It is the claim of the petitioner

that she has already secured 74.811 marks and if two additional marks are given to

the petitioner, she will be qualified for the selection under the disability quota for

B.C. Candidates.

3.Heard Ms.Lakshmi Gopinathan, learned counsel for the petitioner and

Mrs.V.Annalakshmi, learned Government Advocate, appearing on behalf of

respondents 1 to 3 and Mr.C.Munusamy, learned Special Government Advocate for

the 4th respondents.

4.This Court had already passed an order dated 05.12.2019 in

W.P.Nos.31119 and 31121 of 2019, based on a common order dated 19.11.2019

passed by the learned Single Judge of this Court in W.P.Nos.32343 of 2019 etc.,

batch, by directing to constitute an Expert Committee and the Expert Committee

to consider the grievances expressed by the candidates with regard to the

discrepancies found in the questions and submit a report. The facts of the present

case also squarely falls within the same ambit.

5.In view of the above, the petitioner is directed to submit a representation

to the Committee that has already been constituted and point out the

discrepancies in Question No.116 and Question No.21 and the Committee shall

consider the same and submit a report to the fourth respondent and the same can

be considered by the fourth respondent to proceed further in the process of

selection of the petitioner. The representation shall be given to the Committee

by 20.12.2019 and the Committee is directed to give its report to the fourth

respondent within a period of ten days thereafter.

6.This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. There shall be

no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
