1. Describe the director as a communicator?

As an advocate of a company, Communication of the director must have strong


communications and people skills, be an organized strategist, able to adjust to any
kind of situation and resilient to stress, Creativity and out of this world writing and
editing skills are other tools of the trade.

2. Why the verbal messages often misinterpreted by the listener?

Cultural differences can contribute to misinterpretation in verbal and nonverbal


communication. In verbal communication, cultural differences can contribute to the
misinterpretation of words. For example, the word "Jihad" is often translated into
English as "holy war," but in Arabic it is more similar in meaning to "struggle,"
whether militarily or spiritually. 
Conflict , When people are on guard in a social situation, they could be overly
vigilant and on the lookout for insults and slights. For example, if a person has been
told that another person does not think highly of him, that person might read too much
in to neutral body language and come to conclusions about hidden meanings behind
neutral communications. 

3. Part of being a good communicator is the ability to listen. State five suggestions
for being a better listener.

Stay engaged. If you're in a busy area, focus more on the person you're with and less
on what's going on around you.

Practice empathetic listening.
