120 Pampanga towns still in floodwater

City of San Fernando—Some 120 Pampanga barangays are still in floodwater according to the latest
reports from the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) of Pampanga.

The PDRRMO report said that 24 barangays in Masantol are still in floodwater along with 22 barangays
in Macabebe and 24 barangays in Lubao town. Six barangays in Apalit town are also in floodwater with
an average height of one to two feet.

Hightide also flooded 14 low-lying barangays in Guagua town with floodwaters reaching heights of three
feet in some areas.

Bacolor town also reported three flooded areas due to continuous rains. Flooding in Candaba town is
mostly confined in Barangay San Agustin.

In Minalin town, 14 barangays are currently flooded due to rains and hightide. Santo Tomas town also
reported flooding in seven of its barangays with floodwaters in areas like Dela Paz and San Agustin
reaching as high as three feet.

Some five barangays in San Simon are also flooded.

As of latest count, some 276,776 people in ten towns of Pampanga are affected by the current flooding.
