Direct Recruitment of Scientist 'B' in DRDO

Requirement for vacancies in GATE disciplines & Psychology discipline

Be it known to the candidates desirous of recruitment to the post of Scientist 'B' in the
Defence Research & Development Organisation that the organisation would be notifying
vacancies of Scientist 'B' in the year 2021, depending upon the requirement.

Recruitment for vacancies in the subject/disciplines for which GATE is conducted will be
based on valid GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) score and/or written
test/interview. Only those candidates who possess valid GATE score on the crucial date of
eligibility will be considered for shortlisting for written test/interview.

Recruitment for vacancies in the discipline of Psychology will be based on the score in UGC
NET (National Eligibility Test) in Psychology and interview. Only those candidates who have
qualified the UGC NET examination and possess a NET score on the crucial date of eligibility
will be considered for shortlisting for interview.

All the aspirants are therefore advised to ensure that they possess a valid GATE
qualification (for GATE disciplines) and a NET qualification for Associate Professor (for
Psychology discipline) while applying for future vacancies.

News as well as websites of the organisation i.e. drdo.gov.in and rac.gov.in in due course of
time.
