Increasing afterload in RV after intubation sometimes become a tricky theory

it means that when we use a positive pressure to the lungs, the alveoli become overdistend, thus pressing nearby
capillaries thus make them smaller in size and increase in pressure
it is the reason why called as increasing afterload of RV
people with RV failure often deteriorate after intubation because of this reason

but it decreases the LV afterload by decreasing transmural pressure -> can be advantage for patient with LV failure (what
is transmural pressure ?)
