stones and used them as spearheads. Eventually man was to develop the bow, using stones for
arrowheads.

Deadly weapons from which bullets, balls, shots, shells, or other missiles maybe discharged by means of
gun powder or other explosives.

3. Give the "technical" definition of firearms?

It is an instrument used for the propulsion of projectiles by means of the expansive force of gases
coming from burning gunpowder.

4. Trace the origin and development of man's weapon.

5. Distinguish the pistol from revolver?

PISTOL is a handgun that does not have a revolving cylinder, the chamber is part of the barrel, while the
REVOLVER is a handgun that has a cylinder with holes to contain the cartridges.

6. What is the smooth bore firearms. Give examples. 

Smooth bore is a firearms that have no rifling's inside their gun barrel. Examples of smooth bore
firearms are shotguns and muskets.
