Essay: Some people think that it is more effective for student to study in a

group while other belive it is better for them to study alone. Discuss both
view and give your opinion.

Some people believe that study with friends would have better result while
other think it is more beneficial for learners to study independently. I agree
with the latter view.

On the one hand, it is benefit for learners to study by oneself. First and
foremost, study alone would tend to be less distracting when you study in a
group because there is nobody is moving and talking to you. In addition,
students could learn in a personal study environment which is most suitable
for them. Some people may require music, a cup of tea while they study or
others else would like to learn in complete silence and no snacks, drinks at all.
Learning in a perfect study environment may help them more comfortable to
get knowledge.

On the other hand, I am of the opinion that group study is more effective than
study individually. Firstly, when students learn with their friends, they would
talk about the lesson, have different aspects about problems and give advice to
others, which is impossible in studying alone. As a result, students could solve
problems more quickly and they can retain more information. In addition, the
ultimate purpose of the student is to have a well-paid job and one of the most
important features which employers put heavy emphasis on is interpersonal
skills such as presentation skills, operative skills... So, these skills could be
better developed through studying in a group than study independently.

In conclusion, while some people believe that it is better to study by oneself,

but I would contend group study is more beneficial for student.
