TASK 2: In the morden world, it is possible to shop, work and communicate with
people via internet and live without any face-to-face contact with others. It is a
positive or nagative development?

Today is society is seeing a rise in online activities including work, shopping and
comunication instead of doing them directly with each others. From my point of view,
this development brings about both postitive and negative side.
On the one hand, popularity of online shopping and working gives rise to two main
advantages which are worthy of mention. Firstly, it brings convenience to internet uses
when using portable devices including smartphones, ipads, laptops connected to the
internet. We can stay home and buying any product through applications and websites.
There are many options for them to choose, so they no longer need to waste time
wandering around shopping malls or market. Thanks to the internet, during the pademic
of corona virus, statistics show that nearly a half poputation of the world works from
home to prevent epidemic. Moreover, with the rapid growth of the internet, we have
access to the great deal of informations, trend and world economic situation. In addition
to that, online activities is time- saving to works, which is becoming an essential factor in
the hectic pace of contemporary life. Technologial advances easily contact and exchange
information through skype, zoom, facebook... This eventually results in a boost in
product and efficency the firm’s business.
On the other hand, various demerits of such a trend should also be taken into
consideration. We are on the verge of being community isolated due to the focus to
much on digital devices. People, especially young people feel reluctant to interact with
family members and friends. A few years back here, teamworks and activities have
gradually been replaced by online meetings.
In conclution, it seems to me that online activities help prosperity of the economy, but it
also has negative effects on communicate in the real life.
