Entering a university lecture hall is a watershed moment in everyone's life.

because this is the environment where each student learns, trains, and
accumulates knowledge on the path to establishing a career. As a result, we
need to equip ourselves with the necessary equipment to have productive
university years. and this Major orientation course taught me what I needed to
prepare for the new learning environment in higher education. The orientation
as a whole was very valuable in informing and giving an insight into the
expectations of my course. 
 The overall information of this course given to us was a great insight which
made it well worth attending to get ready for the college environment. We
became acquainted with college life after completing orientation. In addition,
We went to “getting to know you” sessions, as well as educational and advising
meetings. We studied school policies, general rules, the honor code, and other
topics. In a short amount of time, we were given a wealth of information, such
as a brief introduction of EF, a study program, syllabus, know about study plan
and support services, a campus tour. Moreover, we find out our potentials,
abilities, passions; we understand the importance of “know what you know”,
the materials we have read, and don’t mistake familiarity for understanding.
Also, we are aware and discover ourselves and even the qualities that are
required to be a good college student. The following are essentials for a well -
stress college experience We can improve our study skills by doing so; knowing
how to read a textbook, take notes in class, use the library, become an active –
learner, become curious, be "curiouser and curiouser", be an active note-taker,
avoid highlighting, and think creatively in particular. Because this is a crucial
skill for the future, we must know how to cooperate, work well in groups, and
manage groups. Honesty, integrity, and dedication are required of us. That is to
say, Learning to incorporate personal values and ethics into every aspect of life
is a significant part of personal growth during the college experience. And
finally, we must work actively, diligently. Then again that students who always
work hard, study hard not only learn more and be more successful but will also
feel more satisfied with their college years.
 On the whole, This course is beneficial in broadening our awareness of the
environment of the university by providing the required information so that we
can confidently enter the university gate without fear or concern. I found that
the program sessions were extremely useful, great sources of information, and
taught me a lot about how I should be approaching University study.
Furthermore, the lecturers are highly enthusiastic and always willing to answer
and clarify any questions at any time. In a word, this is all thing that I have
received from the course and I need to prepare for the new learning
environment in higher education.
