PERIODICAL CHECKS AND MAINTENANCE

SAFETY GENERAL RULES

 Before any intervention the maintenance engineer must:

o Cordon off area and affix the right signs in order to signal the maintenance works on the
door
o Check that the electricity power is disconnected before you start the maintenance
o Check that they fully understand the maintenance required and have read and
understand this manual
o
 The maintenance man can’t use the electrical fittings without a declaration of his proved
experience.
 Don’t allow unauthorized people to repair or maintenance the doors.
 Read the manual before maintaining the doors.
 During maintenance don’t use heat sources that could start fires.
 During maintenance do not weld
 The presence of the maintenance staff around the door must be limited.
 The presence of other people around the door is necessary only to support the maintenance staff

GENERAL CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

The general maintenance operations can be carried out by the user.
The maintenance and cleaning of the door is necessary to ensure the smooth operation and continued
reliability in operation of the door.

COMPONENT DESCRIPTION PERIODICITY

Verify that the structure is securely fixed to the wall in order to avoid
incidents.
Structure Clean with soft cloth any dirt or dust build up ( use soap and water if Six-month
required )
If there is ice on the structure immediately remove it
Clean with soft cloth ( in dusty areas could be necessary to clean
Photocell and more frequently the photocells: dust on photocells could cause
Six-month
radar malfunctioning of the photocells)

Clean the window with a soft cloth and if necessary with soap and
Vision Window water ( do not use any solvent that could damage the window) Six-month

Check the condition of the belts and of the curtain.

Curtain Clean the curtain with a soft cloth and if necessary with soap and Six-month
water ( do not use any solvent that could damage the curtain)

3 RELEASE THE STOP BUTTON (LED 6 turned ON)
3 MOVE THE DOOR WITH BUTTON P1 AND P2 OF 40/ 50 cm AND
LOCATE IT ON CLOSE POSITION ( this operation is useful to recognize the
encoder )
3 VERIFY THAT THE LED LD13 (radio safety edge or sensor in the upper

3 IF NOT, MAKE JUMPERS 7 /13 AND CONTROL THEN THE SECURITY
COMPONENTS
3 INVERT THE ENCODER CABLE (yellow with green )
3 FOR DOORS WITH UPPER PHOTOCELL CONTROL THAT LD 3 IS OFF

5 VERIFY IF THE RESISTENCE (8.2 KΩ) FOR THE CABLES THAT COME
OUT FROM THE EDGE CHANGES IF YOU PRESS THE EDGE if it does
not change control that the resistive band is perfectly flat for all the length of
the black profile or take out the gum and control the integrity.
5 VERIFY THE CONNECTIONS OF THE RECEIVER

14 CONTROL THAT WITH THE PHOTOCELL CABLES THERE ARE NOT ANY
HIGH VOLTAGE CABLES (motor ,motor brake, flashing lights, power line)
(take to the control board separated cables in different pipes, separate the
low voltage 12-24V from the high voltage ≥ 100V)
