From this descriptive result we come to know what the | is and what is the function

ne of them is sparkle 2011; in this eport you can also find work of sparkle
organizing

ow was my experience in sparkle 2011

you can also know how our journey was and what we did.

the em and Jewellery Festival is part of the üibrant ujarat program and a
prelude to the main vibrant ujarat event. rganized from Dth to th January 2011 this is the 4th
edition of | organized by
he |outhern ujarat hamber of ommerce and ndustry at
|urat. |urat is considered to be the financial capital and the growth engine of ujarat. ith an
average D of over 11.- for r continuous years
|urat has lived up to the expectation of the
nation through the entrepreneurial skill of its people.
he Diamond ndustry is one of the major
industries of |urat and accounts for a turnover of above s. r0 thousand corers annually. |urat
is the world͛s diamond manufacturing hub
since r out of the 10 diamonds processed in the
world are processed in |urat. ith the regular organizing of | |urat is destined to be the
next diamond jewellery manufacturing hub.

he üillager raft of ujarat were famous for their color scheme
detail and intricate work and
artistic appearance.
hese handicrafts were a product of skilled craftsmanship of ndia.
here
was a wide variety available in handicrafts. ne can choose from silver jewelry
embroidery
furniture
clay items
handmade durries (carpets)
stone crafts and other materials.
he expo would focus on beautiful products and accessories for üillage craft sector.
üillage raft exhibition would showcase wide range of craft and handicraft products under one
roof
with a live demonstration of how these products of art were made

thereby promoting
the precious handicrafts heritage of the country.

he traditional ujarati food was primarily vegetarian and had a high nutritional value.

typical ujarati thali consists of varied kinds of lip smacking dishes. ujarati cuisine had so
much to offer and each dish had an absolutely different cooking style.

First and my friends were interviewed by Dhiren sir at his office. e are so much worried for
the interview. Dhiren sir asked some question and we answered properly and finally we passed
the interview. Dhiren sir had given us some
ips relating to the Management in the
organization. e had taught us about the difference between study of Management and
practical work of the Management.
e told us that-
U f you wanted to become an intelligent Marketing manager then you had to run with the
current requirement of the customers.
U f you were fail to understand them then you could not stand long time in the Market.

hey told us that if you had not learnt marketing management but you were success to
prove your trust to the customer then your customer would be loyal to yourself without
any attraction

his was the first meeting of my life at the corporate level person and can say this was the
wonderful experience ever in my life.
fter completing the meeting with Dhiren sir he had told us that the next meeting they were
going to conduct at the chamber office that is

and my friends were gone to the chamber office next evening in ͞M | all at
chamber office. n this meeting approximately 2- students were present. e had been given
the information about |parkle exhibition what they were going to conduct in January.
hey had
informed us about our role in sparkle exhibition.
fter completing this first meeting at chamber office Dhiren sir had introduced us with other
seniors who were performing at management level in | (

ommerce and ndustry) like Dinesh zaveri.
hey were conducting meeting every 2nd day till one week was remaining for our tour to the
amil adu. efore one week of our tour we had to present everyday at the | office for
discussion about
our.

5th Dec 2010
ur train͛s arrival time was 2:º0pm on -th Dec 2010 and we reached at station before
1hr. ur train was on time. |o
our train reached at station on 2:º0pm. e took our seat and
our train was started at 2:4-pm to |alem.
n our train we were met different people and first we introduce each other in our
compartment. n our compartment there was two couple one was young and second was old
one old man and of course me and my friend bhagvan.
n first day we enjoy full day journey in train
we played with our compartment
members
and we talked each other especially with |unil kela and his wife kta kela. |unil kela
told about
amil adu and there politician because he lives in |alem
so he knew the political
environment in
amil adu. n the way we saw incredible nature scene of Maharashtra
fter evening around [pm waiter asked for dinner and at [:º0pm waiter came with
south ndian dinner and we eat dinner at kalyanpura station in Maharashtra. e enjoy dinner
with our compartment members and we really liked south ndian thali
after finished dinner
some time heard music and we slept at 10pm in train.

6th Dec 2010
n second day wake up at around [am in the morning and we reached ndhra
radesh. fter refreshed myself
took one cup of coffee with arle- and we visited untakal
station in ndhra radesh.
he station was very big and famous for breakfast. ven we enjoy
¦ in lunch which is one of the famous dishes of station.
talked about our |urat to |unil kela and |unil was talked about his |alem. |unil told
about diamond/jewellery showrooms in |alem. fter wrote showrooms name
we enjoy whole
day journey in train. lso |unil told about his native place ͚JaisalmerA.
hen he told us about
how they organise marriage function in ajasthan. was getting bore in afternoon so read
story book and visited other coach of our train.
hen it was evening we entered in arnataka state. n the way saw beautiful scene.
hen it was night could not see anything outside of train. e took a dinner and discussed
about next day planning and after discussed we went to slept.
t :º0pm was wakeup and was slept just for 2hrs. e reached |alem at 10:º0pm.
e were getting down from the train and put steps on |alem junction. |unil helped us to reach
at ͚otel eela alace͛. e dropped us at hotel in his own car at 11pm
and we slept at 12am.
eally |unil kela was nice and helpful man. Finally we thanks to |unil and gave invitation to
came our home. f

7th Dec 2010
[th Dec 2010 was our working day in |alem city. n |alem city there was two parts one
was old bus stand road and second was new bus stand road. ur hotel was on new bus stand
road. e had to start our work that giving the invitation of | xhibition to the randed
Jewellery |how rooms.
e started our work from new bus stand oad because it was nearest to our hotel. e
visited around r showrooms on new bus stand oad. fter we finished all visit we went for
lunch at 1pm in restaurant at new bus stand oad and we order two dishes that name was
͚uick Meal͛ and was amazed by seeing in that dish there was only three types of rise

othing anything else. didn͛t like |alem food. fter we finished our
lunch we went to old bus stand oad.
here were around 10 showrooms and we visited all
showrooms.
he response of jewellery showrooms was so good at old bus stand road as
compared to new bus stand oad
e finished all showrooms visit till pm
and then we went for dinner at new bus stand
road in ͚ to ͛ restaurant till 10pm after finished we dinner we went to our hotel. e º forms
collected in |alem.

8th Dec 2010
n next day we wake up early because we had to catch Madurai͛s bus at new bus stand.
Madurai͛ bus arrival time was 10:4-am so we took our seat in bus and bus was started to go
Madurai at 10:4-am. e don͛t know their language so we faced difficulty to take tickets for
Madurai and finally we got tickets. n the way we saw very beautiful scenes and in the way we
faced heavy rain. ook some photo....
t 4pm we reached at Madurai. us conductor was told us before start bus
reaching
time (4pm) to saw that was amaze. e were getting down from the bus and we searched auto
for our hotel. ur hotel was near to Meenakshi mman temple
around just 1km. we had not so
worked on first day in Madurai. e had to visit Madurai to saw how many showrooms in
Madurai because we had not showrooms list. |o after saw Madurai we returned to our hotel.
nd we went for dinner in our hotel. fter we finished dinner we went too slept in our room.

9th Dec 2010
ow that was our working day in Madurai before we went in market we visited world
famous Meenakshi mman temple in Madurai. t was really big and very beautiful temple.
fter visited the temple we went to market to visit showroom
after visiting five
showrooms we got same answer that ͚they had to take permission of their association͛ so we
went there association office and talked there president about sparkle exhibition. |o he told us
about 1000 sparkle registration kit. |o we call to our senior Dinesh sir about that problem. e
suggested us to copied 1000 registration form and detail paper of sparkle. |o we gave all that
thinks what they needed.
Madurai jewellery association done tremendous job for his all members
that is really
good for their members.

hat was the day we had to leave Madurai and reached oimbatore. ur bus time was
for oimbatore at 10am and we reached oimbatore at 2:º0pm. t oimbatore our meeting
was arranged by our senior Dharmesh sir and our meeting with resident of oimbatore
jewellery association MU
he meeting was started at 12noon and we told everything about sparkle exhibition
we
gave sparkle registration kit to all association member.
revious day of meeting we visited around 10 showrooms because we know that every
members were remain present in the meeting. e liked one showroom in oimbatore the
name was
| J| that jewellers owner was UJ
so he leaved important
sales meeting only to meet us because he was eager to meet ujarati persons. e was very nice
person and he gave respect liked we were his children.
e had collected around 1D registration forms in oimbatore. round 100 registration forms
would be posted from oimbatore.
n 1ºth December
2010 was excited to back for |urat. ur train was Mumbai xpress and its
arrival time was D.00pm. t oimbatore junction

î oimbatore is biggest city to compare with |alem and Madurai.

here is scope for business of Jewellery but not scope for hotel.

here railway station is very clean but whole city is very dirty

everywhere opens drainages lines.
î eople of oimbatore city are not so helping nature like |alem and Madurai.

here bus facility is very good; we can catch bus at every - minutes. ut there
auto are very expensive like |alem.

hat was second time went to Mumbai. ur train was arrived at 4:º0am and
our next train to go |urat was |aurashtra express and its time was r:º0am. |o we had to
aite there around 4hrs. e were so hungry so we took cup of coffee with parle-.
hen we getting down at the Dadar station we were confuse about our next
train to at which platform train would arrive
so we asked vary people who standing at
platform and they all gives different answers
so we went station master office to
enquire about |aurashtra express he gave me exact answer.
e saw the scene nd that time we getting surprise about the culture of
Mumbai
is so busy.
here people are looking so busy at early morning. ach person was
running to catch the ͚ ͛ train. Mumbai is a very big city.
hen we waiting for the train
we found one person who missed his train and
waiting for next train
till his next train he talked with us about our train.
e caught our train at Dadar station we took our seat in train and e reached
|urat station at 2:º0pm

e returned from our tour and took rest -days and after returned to my job in |.
n | had to follow up my guest whom we had invited from

person individually
whom gave invitation form and asked about when he/she would come at
|urat to visit sparkle exhibition

another volunteer in | . fter completed my file took another file of hennai to follow up
them and finally reported the same to another volunteer.

exhibitor͛s showroom and collected fees and gave him free passes to participants and we had
to make list of parties name and e-mail id. |o worked in | from 11am to till [:º0pm. n

n the working time | provide us lunch and tea/coffee. fter completing of sparkle
exhibition
| will give us one wonderful certificate and also s 200per day as salary.

ur worked started at convention centre from Dth to th Jan 2011. First we went to
convention centre from | on -th Jan with our sir aj Jariwala. fter reached centre first we
visited whole exhibition then aj sir introduced us with |iddharth sir who was in charge of
asses registration department.
started my work from Dth Jan. reached exhibition centre at am and started my work
on computer to registration of passes under in charge of |iddharth sir. did the same worked
during the whole exhibition.
First two days there was not so many visitors came
so had not so much worked
in last
two days (|aturday & |unday) there was so many visitors came to visit that xhibition
was so
busy in last two days that had not enough time to take lunch.

his was the first project ever in my life. First time had worked in government
