Analyzing the previous lesson and material plans have made before into the course planning
and syllabus design steps.
A. Determine the scope and sequence
o Scope
1. Theme/topic
The theme of the course that will be covered in this lesson is oral and written
text to praise winged and response.
2. Audience
This course is intended for intended for students of first semester in 10th
grade.
3. The Challenge and Need
The material and topic were chosen based on the syllabus provided by the
goverment, so that we can conclude they have already determined the material
based on the student’s need.
4. Goals
After completed the lesson, students are expected to :
a. Identify winged praises and responses, according to their context in
use.
b. Understand winged praising expression and responses, according to the
context of their use.
c. Understand the linguistic elements of winged praising expression and
responses.
d. Compile sentences of winged praising expression and responses.
5. The key Points
The list of topics outlined in this lesson are: Expression of delivering winged
and responses based on the different context.

B. Planning the course structure


o Freamework

The syllabus framework used here is an integrated syllabus consisting the


combination of competency-based syllabus and task-based syllabus. The competency
based syllabus involves the decision of the chosen topic in the syllabus which consists
of competencies commonly used in a communication i.e. giving and asking
suggestion and advice. Moreover, the activity involved in learning also includes the
activities of task-based syllabus i.e. opinion exchange tasks which is one of the
pedagogical tasks in task-based syllabus. This activity is included in the
communication activities where students are presenting material in group and hold
discussion with other friend right after.
