System using QR code

1. Rationale

“For my topic of research, I have chosen to focus on LIFICO’s

Attendance System using QR Code. I choose this topic proposal because
Barangay Linoan was Agricultural land and the area contains of rice field with
a population of 3,553 and represented 8.13% of the total population of
Montevista, Linoan is situated at approximately 7.6665, 125.9830, in the
island of Mindanao. Elevation at these coordinates is estimated at 77.2
meters or 253.3 feet above mean sea level, (Philatlas, 2021)…”

“In particular I wanted to know how LIFICO’s employee’s managing

their attendance nor daily time records while they weak-up in earlier and go to
the rice field…”

Maintaining great attendance is crucial to help us do well as an employee as

well as allows us to be in good standing with our employer. Being present and
on time helps us strengthen our work credibility and work history. QR code
Attendance Management System is a combination of two applications one is
Mobile application and the other is Desktop application for taking and storing

The general objective of the study have to enhancement of QR Code of

LIFICO’s Attendance Management system is to computerize the traditional
way of recording attendance and provide an efficient and automated method
to track attendance in cooperative. Using the QR code attendance system
gives advanced features like:

 Providing better security.

 Maintenance of the system become easy and cost effective.

 Generating quick statistical results.

 Providing accurate and efficient data.

 User friendly.

2.2 Specific

The specific objectives of the study has to be able to boost employee Personal
character and to be a good employee in terms of attendance based and
performance stability has applied at their work. To achieve the above discussed
objectives, a step-by-step has been followed. The details of specific objectives of
the study are given below:

 Develop a QR code generator android app using the details of employee such as
roll number, employee ID.

 Develop an Android app that take the attendance with respect to the specific
subject and generate the employee attendance sheet as per attendance details.

 User Friendly

 Reports are easily generated

 Very less paper work

 One spot solution for attendance calculation

 To be able to trace the absences of the manager or employee

  Employee: Log-in to system: Employee can log-in the system by
entering valid ID and Password. After log-in employee can scan the
QR Code generated then the employee will receive a message that
the process has been done.

 Manager: Log-in to system: After log-in and generating a new QR

code. The instructor will give the chance to the employee after that to
scan QR code by their Mobile phone application.

 Employee details: Manager can view all employee details. And also,
attendance list and time.

The Cooperative which is Linoan Farmers Integrated

Cooperative (LIFICO) should implement of assessment
to be able to know how to use this kind of procedural
application which deals knowledge to perform the
specific task to proceed.

We all know that attendance can cause of insufficient

data information because anyone can write nor to fill
out in order stamp in attendance sheets to present
those people even not at the field or not around. With
the help of this application those things have been
avoided.

 Process: Android Application integrate QR Code, Verification

ID and Password, Storing data and retrieving data

The Employee’s has to be able to fill-up their

Verification ID and Password to generate new QR
Code every single day and scanning to the Mobile App
connected to the Wi-Fi provided by the company to
generate the QR Code to the Algorithms, the
procedural to store and retrieved to the Web-server
based in localhost or online.

 Output: Generate the result by fill-outing in Valid ID

(Employee/Manager Identification No.) and Password.

Employee and the Manager has the same procedural

by performing the specific action by connecting the Wi-
Fi and proceeding in the portal embedded in the Wi-Fi
