Similarities and differences of Maritime and Non-Maritime Memorandum

- As we discuss and observe the two types of memorandum, we came up with their
similarities and differences. Based on our research for the examples, both maritime and
non-maritime memorandum have headings and subject. The maritime memorandum
example has the part where it indicates which people the memorandum is for.
Moreover, objectives were indicated in the maritime memorandum. As for the non-
maritime memorandum example, it has a rationale in the first part. Both of the
examples has the coverage, definition of terms, general provisions, documents and
qualification requirements, and effectivity clause. All of these are basic parts of a
memorandum. Meanwhile, the maritime memorandum has schedule of fees and
reportorial requirements indicated. It was also stated that MARINA may suspend or
cancel the accreditation and penal provisions. Lastly, the maritime memorandum has a
repealing clause. On the other hand, the non-maritime memorandum sample has
mechanics of implementation, roles and responsibilities of the parties, monitoring and
evaluation, and the funding source.

-As we discuss and compare the similarities and differences of maritime and non-maritime
email, both types have the basic parts of an email. Both have a heading, date, inside
address, salutation, introduction, body, closing, and signature. Our example for the
