ANNEXURE-1 The broad terms and conditions of contractual engagement would be as follows:- (a) Designation RESEARCH ASSOCIATE (LEGAL) (b) Qualification Legal: Bachelor's Degree in Law (LL.B), LL.B (Hons.) (co) Period of Contractual engagement « Two Years (extendable by one more year, if required). «The appointee shall execute a service bond binding himself or herself to the extent that he shall serve the Authority for a period of two years extendable by one year, if required and in any case not less than six months from the date of joining. In case he/she wishes to terminate the engagement within the period of six months of his/her joining, he/she shall be liable to pay an amount of Rs. 1,00,000/- (Rupees One Lakh) to TRAI. In case, he/she decide to terminate the engagement after a period of six months from the date of joining, he/she shall serve a notice of minimum of two months or forfeit pay, calculated in pro rata basis, in lieu of notice period of less than two months. Further, the contractual engagement shall be terminated by the Authority, at any point of time, by giving a notice of two months or disbursal of pay, calculated in pro rata basis, in lieu of notice period of less than two months. (d@) Pay Package Pay and Allowances:- They shall be paid fixed monthly remuneration at the following rates:- 1% Year Rs. 85,000/- per month 28 Year Rs, 90,000/- per month 3 Year Rs. 95,000/- per month Allowances: Rs. 5000/- Quarterly towards telephone/mobile charges etc and Rs.500/- per month towards newspaper, on production of bills. The Income Tax and other applicable taxes etc., if any will be deducted from the remuneration payable to the candidates. (e) Outstation Travel Entitlement Travel: Economy class by air or AC-II tier by train. Lodging: — Reimbursement for hotel accommodation/guest house of up to Rs.2250/- per day on production of necessary bills/receipt. Boarding: Reimbursement of food bills not exceeding Rs. 900/- per day. Travel within city: Reimbursement of non-AC taxi charges of up to Rs. 338/-per day for travel within the city, on production of necessary bills/receipt Duty Hours 5 days week. 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 pm with lunch break — 1:30 pm to 2:00 pm. However, in case of exigency of work, the appointee has to stay late and accomplish the task assigned to him. (9) ‘Medical Facilities Reimbursement up to Rs.10,000/- p.a. against medical insurance policy to be taken by the candidate for himself/herself as well as dependent family members. (h) Leave 1. 12 days during 1" Year (One day's paid leave for every completed month of service), 15 days during 2 Year(may be availed during any period of the year) and 20 days during 3" Year (may be availed during any period of the year) 2. The leave is indicated in (1), above shall not be allowed either to be carried forward or to be encashed. However, in case appointee resign or terminate the engagement within the period of contractual engagement, he/she shall be granted the leave proportionately. 3. Leave for any extreme exigency shall be subject to approval of Competent Authority, on case to case basis, and without payment of any remuneration.
