Question: IS IDEALISM IMPORTANT IN THE FIELD OF EDUCATION?

Answer:
YES! Because it helps to understand the different features of
education in more specific way. Idealism emphasizes the exaltation
of personality which is the result of self-realization, self- discipline
and dignified teachers. Idealism assign a very important place to
the teacher who is respected as a guide of his/her students.
Idealism has had great influence in education, because it
reveal a bit of ultimate reality and promotes the quality of life as no
other area can. The important of idealism in education is to
discover and develop peoples ability so they can better serve
society. The focus of idealism in education is by handling ideas
through lecture, discussion and dialogue which is a method that
uses questioning to help students discover and clarify their
knowledge. That’s why for me idealism is important in the field of
education.
