Nature Appreciation San Miguel, Bani, Bird Watching Bangrin, Mangrove Forest It is comprised of 42.25 hectares of
Pangasinan mangrove forest. It is home to 53 species
of migratory and indigenous birds,
according to the Local Economic
Development arm of the Department of
Interior and Local Government. It is also
one of the 13 bird-watching areas in the
Philippines identified by the Department
of Tourism. According to the most recent
assessment of the Bani’s Agricultural
Office, there are now 150+ bird species in
Bangrin. Birdwatching activities in
Bangrin can be done before sunrise as well
as before sundown.
Alaminos City, Pangasinan Conservation Areas Bued, Mangrove Park It is a park full of different kinds of
mangrove. From skinny to thick ones and
from brown to green in color, they have it.
It is located in Barangay Bued, one of the
rising barangays of Alaminos City because
of its tourism which offers great view of
the famous HINP and the green shade of
the mangroves. The Mangrove Park offers
different experiences. First, you can have
the chance to plant your own mangrove
tree. You can have your own tree within
the park. You will be helping mother
nature to bring back the homes of the
fishes and other aquatic or marine animals.
Mangatarem, Pangasinan Environmental Education Our Farm Republic If you want to learn more about farming
and experience what it’s really like to
grow and harvest your own produce, visit
the Farm Republic in Barangay Torre II,
Mangatarem. The 5.8-ha organic farm is
actually both a tourist attraction and
training center. While they offer courses
and seminars for both new and
experienced farmers, there are also several
activities for you to try here.
You can go on farm tours, harvest produce
to take home, and even learn farm-to-table
best practices by picking the ingredients
and cooking the food yourself.
Tayug, Pangasinan Photography Tayug Sunflower Eco Park The main attraction in this park are the
sunflowers, which make for amazing
photos. The 2-ha park is home to
thousands of sunflower blooms and
several sunflower mazes, which feature
several photo stops, so you won’t have to
wait too long to get your turn to snap
those pictures. Like its name suggests,
the park is home to thousands of flowers,
but they’re not all sunflowers. Here, you
can also find beds of marigold, petunia,
and celosia, as well as other ornamental
plants. There are also different kinds of
vegetables in the park, which you can
pick and harvest on your own for a fee. 
Best of all, the sunflowers are
continuously planted throughout the
year, so you can be sure that there will be
blooms no matter when you visit. You
can even take part of the experience
home with you as the eco-park also sells
potted and bloomed flowers, including
zinnias, torenia, and of course,
sunflowers. 
Bolinao, Pangasinan Waterfalls Bolinao Falls Bolinao Falls is made up of three
waterfalls, Bolinao Falls 1, 2, and 3. All
three falls are breathtaking, but they have
varying heights, and the tallest is Bolinao
Falls 1. Coupled with its turquoise
waters, the falls’ elevation makes it the
ideal spot for cliff-diving. Bolinao Falls
2 is more suited for swimming and has a
pool with varying depths, including
shallow spots for children.
Alaminos City , Pangasinan National Parks Hundred Islands National Park It is the top Pangasinan destination for
locals and international travelers alike.
The protected area boasts of 123 islets
scattered across Lingayen Gulf. Each
islet is uniquely shaped and believed to
have been formed millions of years ago,
making the view of them even more
special and rare. Some of the islands
have white sand beaches, while some
feature limestone cliffs. If you have
enough time, you may also visit the other
islands that are open to tourists: Clave
Island, Lopez Island, Marcos Island,
Monkey Island, Bat Island, and Old
Scout Island. You can also try jet-skiing,
island-to-island zip lining, helmet-diving,
and going on a banana boat ride. With
the majestic views and the many
activities, tourists can try, it’s no wonder
Hundred Islands National Park sees up to
half a million tourists each year.
San Carlos City, Pangasinan Zoology Animal Statue Zoo As you visit the zoo, not only you can
see different kinds of animals but you
can also check out for the animal statues
selection for the very best in unique or
custom, handmade pieces from there
sculpture shops.
Air Adventure Lingayen, Pangasinan Adventure Paragliding The Paragliding Exhibition held in line
while competing on the air with Pistay Dayat 2018 celebration added
colors to the sky on April 30 and May 1 at
Capitol Beachfront in Lingayen. About
thirty individual participants, locals and
foreign — joined the exhibition this year.

Water Adventures Calbiga, Samar Swimming with your friends and Lulugayan falls Also known as the mini Niagara falls,
families, taking pictures spanning approximately 50 meters wide,
this curtain waterfall is really one of the
widest in the country. The highest drop is
more or less 30 meters.
Basey, Samar River kayaking Golden River If you visit Sohoton cave and Natural
bridge you will visit this place, Golden
river located in Basey, Samar, it is
recommended to go river kayaking here.
San Jose de Buan, Samar Extreme boat adventures Ulot River The longest river in Samar stretching
90km wide, this river flows from San Jose
de Buan, Samar and discharges from the
Philippine Sea. If you are a thrillseeker it
is recommended here to go on an Extreme
Boat Adventure.
San Jorge, Samar Swimming, taking pictures, Pinipisakan Falls A beautiful 4 layered waterfalls located in
Extreme Adventures San Jorge, Samar but due to it's hard way
to get there it is rarely visited but of you
take the extreme adventure to get there it
is worth it, you could swim and take
pictures of the beautiful waterfalls along
with your family/friends.
Las Navas, Northern Samar Lalaguna Bay Mangrove forest Kayaking A protected marine sanctuary at Las
Navas, Northern Samar you can go
kayaking here and witness the mangrove
trees.
Cultural Adventures Dagupan City Festival Bangus Festival Bangus Festival is celebrated annually in
Dagupan City in Pangasinan, which is
known as the Bangus Capital of the
Philippines. The festival features the ever-
famous bangusine (bangus cuisine) which
is the main highlight of the event, street
dancing where locals wear a colorful
Bangus Festival costume, bangus grilling,
deboning, variety shows, trade fairs,
beauty pageants, sports fest, cooking
show, medical mission, visual arts, band
concerts, sports activities, dog show,
fluvial parade, drum and lyre parade, and
street party.
Manaoag, Pangasinan Church Manaoag Church “Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary of
Manaoag or known as “Our Lady of
Manaoag” is one of the most visited
religious churches in Pangasinan. Some
have even been referred to as the
“Catholic Mecca” by many. It was built in
the 17th century, and a farmer once saw an
apparition of the Virgin Mary there.

every year to experience the spiritual
nature of the area and take in the different
historical and religious attractions.

Calasiao, Pangasinan Gourmet Gastronomy Puto Calasiao Puto is a steamed rice cake and it’s a
famous Kakanin in Pangasinan. It’s
usually white but flavors such as pandan,
ube, and strawberry have been added to
this traditional Filipino kakanin. Puto
Calasiao is considered to be its own
specific recipe of puto. Calasiao is a
small town in Pangasinan. Puto Calasiao
refers to the special puto that is produced
in this town. The best place to buy Puto
Calasiao are the collection of puto stalls,
nearby the Saints Peter and Paul Parish
Church of Calasiao.
Land Adventures Mankayan, Benguet Golf Lepanto Golf The Lepanto Golf Club is part of the
support facilities and services of the
company. It is housed by the community
center of the company, primarily for the
welfare of their employees. Together with
the golf club, the community center also
houses a theatre for movies and programs,
training center, canteen, playing courts for
basketball, lawn & table tennis, volleyball
& badminton, and a playground and park
for children and residents of the mining
complex.It is short, but playing in this club
is definitely not going to be easy. The club
is surrounded by a breathtaking view of
the mountains. The 18-hole golf course
consists of different challenges. These
challenges include, narrow fairways lined
by Pine trees and Almus trees, small
greens, and rolling terrains. This is one
challenging Par 61 course you would want
to try for a memorable round of golf.
La Trinidad, Benguet Horse Riding El Kabayo, Horseback Riding The most enjoyable activities is the
horseback riding in this area. The land is
so wide and there were only two to five
horses and you have all the area for you
to go around. Because of its huge space,
you can actually try horseback riding in
the whole area. There are lots of locals
offering a ride. It’s only Php300 per hour
or Php150 for half an hour. And you can
choose whatever horse you like.
Tublay, Benguet Trails Winaca Eco- Cultural Village Continuing beyond the heritage is the Eco-
Trail where you walk under the canopy of
centuries old indigenous trees, giant ferns,
narra, and pine forest. Under these trees
are coffee and anthurium flowers. A
thriving organic farm produces fresh
vegetables and herbs.It led as as well at
secondary forests which teem with
different flora and fauna. Wildflowers also
abound including various birds creating
natural music to the ear.
Atok, Benguet Biking Cycling Halsema Highway The old highest point was once the most
desired destination for cyclists because
of its scenic and challenging terrain but
sooner proved to be the easiest part of
the route. Halsema Highway, a national
highway in the Philippines (Bontoc,
Mountain Province). Attested to what
they say, the highway was considered
one of the most dangerous highways in
the world. Commuters, transporters,
tourists, riders and residents coming
from Baguio or Mt. Province drove this
route, braving steep crags, narrow and
sheer drop offs, some more than 1000
feet.
La Trinidad, Benguet Picnicking Mt. Kalugong Eco-Park If there was a word to describe the view
on top of Mt Kalugong, it would be
‘stunning’. Above the Valley, you’ll be
able to see the wide strawberry farms,
thousands of pine trees, a sneak peek of
Baguio, and the humble town of La
Trinidad, Benguet. You can pitch a tent,
set up a picnic, or just do photo ops. You
can also visit the newly opened coffee-
house. having a picnic or simply sitting
back on a rock while looking down at the
La Trinidad Valley, the Mt. Kalugong
Eco-Park is for you.
Kabayan, Benguet Hiking Mt. Pulag Mount Pulag borders the provinces of
Benguet, Ifugao, and Nueva Vizcaya. It
is the Philippines’ third highest mountain
and Luzon’s highest peak. The mountain
hosts more than five hundred plant
species. The dwarf bamboo, for instance,
is endemic to the mountain. It also
houses several endangered species of
mammals. Mount Pulag is definitely a
haven for nature lovers.
Kabayan, Benguet Camping / Trails Four lakes / Mystery lakes The four mountain lakes — which are
called Tabeo, Incolos, Latep Ngapos, and
Bulalacao/Ambulalakaw — including
Junior Pulag is a part of the "Tabeyo
Trail" a.k.a "Four Lakes Trail". One will
finish the Tabeyo Trail for a roughly 2-3
hrs. On the other hand, the serene Ballay
village is the major jump-off point to Mt.
Tabayoc summit and it is a 6 hrs. hike
and back to the Ballay Ranger Station.
Mt. Tabayoc is the second highest
mountain of Luzon and the fifth highest
in the Philippines.

Both the Tabeyo Trail and Mt. Tabayoc


are proud of its seemingly endless mossy
forests, muddy trails, dwarfed trees with
trunks and branches twisting.
