KING TUT

King Tut was born in Egypt in 1342 B.C. He was the son of pharaoh Amenhotep IV and
Nefertiti. His parents were siblings so that caused him to have many deformities. After his
father´s death Tutankhamun ascended to the throne when he was only 10 years old. He
married to one of his cousins and reign together until his death at the age of 18 years old. No
one knows what cause his death, but many of his treasures were buried with him in a tomb. In
1922, a British archaeologist discovered the burial tomb of King Tut. This was the first tomb
that had everything in it and was untouched.
