DATA CLEANSING – ANIMAL RECORDS

Delete and edit animals from the current session

The W810 allows the user to delete the most recent animal record from the current session. It is also possible to edit
animal information on any previous records of the session..

DELETE AN ANIMAL:
It is possible to delete the most recent animal record only::
a. Press the red DELETE button to the right of the lower LCD display.
b. A notification that the last animal record has been deleted will be
displayed.

EDIT AN ANIMAL RECORD:

a. From the individual animal record screen, press the up/down arrows
of the F1 & F2 soft keys to highlight the animal to be edited.
• EG: if reading a mob of rams set the default SEX field to M,
removing the need to record this against every animal manually.
b. Press soft key F3 (EDIT).
c. Press the right arrow soft key F3 to move the selection to the
condition score, note or trait record.
d. Use the keypad to enter the new value for the selected item.
e. Press soft key F5 (OK) to return to the edit screen.
f. Press soft key F5 (OK) to save the changes and exit Edit Mode.
