In the first place, the biggest advantage of an online course is its convenience and flexibility, you can
learn at anywhere, anytime you want. You can take note, review lessons, discuss questions, chat to your
friends or study whenever you’d like to. Furthermore, you don’t have to follow any certain schedule,
and you can make your own that is suitable to you. At this point, you would also develop many life-long
skills, such as making schedules or time management.

On the other hand, online learning has a lot of disadvantages due to the lack of teacher. Cheating during
online exams is probably the most severe problem, as there is no teacher around and some students
don’t seem to take the test seriously. Nevertheless, one should accept the fact that online learning
depends on the student’s attitude toward his/her study. To take online courses effectively, students
must be responsible, active, hard-working, self-disciplined. Moreover, it contributes to the lack of
connections between people or social skills such as teamwork, maintaining relationships, facing
loneliness or stress.

In summary, these are the advantages and disadvantages of online learning. Of course school learning
still remains to be the best learning method at the time, but the fact that online learning is becoming
more and more adaptive to the future lifestyle because of its unlimited source of information.
Undoubtedly, online learning is one of the best ways to enhance your knowledge as well as many useful
skills that unavailable at school.
