WHY WAS THE TORAH GIVEN – INCLUDING THE SEFER, VAYIKRA


1..To show that we can’t keep it. (Heb 9:8 the Set-apart Spirit signifying this, that
the way into the Most Set-apart Place was not yet made manifest while the first Tent has
a standing, Heb 9:9 which was a parable for the present time in which both gifts and
slaughters are offered which are unable to perfect the one serving, as to his conscience,
Heb 9:10 only as to foods and drinks, and different washings, and fleshly regulations
imposed until a time of setting matters straight.

2..The Torah is Covenantal. Elohim is Covenantal. He seeks you out.

# 4190 – failure....the influence of evil = taking the ability to do the torah and
telling the nation that they are obligated to do it. They are not to be told. They
are called to do it.

Egypt Mentality = Sacrifices / works offered to appease the gods. / Bribery /

ELOHIM NOT A PHYSICAL BEING THAT NEEDS FOOD – PEOPLE DO ? – He is


smatter than our tongues.

Doing Torah: SACRIFICES DOES NOT EQUAL OBEDIENCE

Hos 6:4 “Ephrayim, what would I do with you? Yehuḏah, what would I do with you? For

Elohim’s standard demands : Kindness / Mercy

1..SACRFICES SHOULD AROUSE AROSE A PERSON TO EXAMINE HIS BEHAVIOUR IN LIGHT


OF ELOHIM’S CREATION. THIS SHOULD LEAD TO REPENTANCE = A CHANGE IN BEHAVIOUR.

2..SACRIFICES WERE COMANDED SO THAT PRIEST IN THE SANCTUARY WOULD HAVE A


LIVIHOOD AND NOT HAVE TO BEG CHARITY

3..A SACRIFICE IS LIKE A FINE. AN INDIVIDUAL WHO SUFFERS A FINANCIAL LOSS DUE TO
HIS/HER SIN MAY COME TO REALISE THAT SIN IS VERY EXPENSIVE AND THUS REPENT OF
REFRAIM FROM SINNING.

4..BY WITNESSING THE SLAUGHTERING THE SIINER SEES THE SACRIFICE, THE BURNING
AND THE REMAINING ASHES OF THE ANIMAL= REALISE THIS IS THE END OF ALL HUMANS
AND THEREFORE REPENT.

5..YISRAEL WITNESSED ANIMAL SACRIFICES IN EGYPT, LEARN NOT TO WORSHIP THE


ANIMALS/IDOLS. TO PREVENT WORSHIPING ANIMAL BUT TO USE IT AS SACRIFICES

SACRIFICES IN ITSELF DOES NOT APPEASE ELOHIM FOR ONE’S WRONG DOING, RATHER, IT
SERVES MERELY AS AN EXPRESSION OF MANS DESIRE TO PURIFY HIMSLEF AND BECOME
RECONCILED TO ELOHIM.

A MAN’S DESIRE IS AS POWEFUL AS THE SACRFICE ITSEL. A MAN’S EXPECTATION IS AS


POWERFULL AS THE SACRIFICE ITSELF

THE ESSENTAIL ELEMENT OF REPENTANCE IS THE INDIVIDUALS ATTITUDE . THE


ATTITUDE ITSELF IS THE SACRIFICE . ( LIVING SACFRICE)

WHEN THE TEMPLE IS DESTROYED THE SACRIFICES WIIL END !!!!!!!! TIME FOR MERCY

One is a temple / Two is a Tabernacle ( Two talking together)

HE KNEW THAT YOUR TEMPLE NEEDED TO BE DESTROYED. AS ONLY HE CAN RAISE IT UP


AGAIN.

THE LAW WILL FORCE YOU TO REMEMBER SIN – WEEK AFTER WEEK.

PRESENT YOUR BODIES AS A LIVING SACRIFICE AS YOUR REASONABLE WORSHIP.!!!!
