IN GENERATING PATTERNS

1.) A sequence is the following of one thing after another.

2.) A term is a single mathematical expression in a sequence.

3.) A finite sequence contains a limited number of terms. With an end or last
term. While infinite sequence contains a countless number of terms. It has
no end term.

4.) To find the specified term/s of a sequence when given the general term,
simply substitute the specific term/s with the given general term and
simplify them.

5) To write the general term of a sequence when given some terms, first, find
the common difference and formulate a formula from it, then you will be able
to know the general term.
