Title:

Bullying in schools
Thesis:
Bullying comes from the word Bully, which is a word that refers to the notion of a "threat" made by someone
to another person (who is generally weaker or "lower" than the perpetrator), which causes psychological
disturbances for the victim (the victim is called a bully boy or bully girl). ) in the form of stress (which appears in
the form of physical or psychological disorders, or both; for example, difficulty eating, physical pain, fear, low
self-esteem, depression, anxiety, and others). Moreover, bullying usually lasts for a long time (years) so it is
very likely to affect the victim psychologically.

Arguments:

Bullying can happen anywhere to anyone. But the fact shows that most bullying cases happen at school with
students as the perpetrator and the victim. Some of you might take it lightly and consider it as usual thing that
happens at school. This is where you get this wrong. The reason why it seems “usual” for some people is
because there are too many cases of bullying at school. It shows us that bullying at school is actually a serious
problem that requires immediate action before the number grows even bigger.
Some things that can be observed in cases of bullying are:How to identify children who are indicated to have
experienced bullying at school? A number of tips are summarized by Kompas.com from various other sources.
Features to watch out for include: Reluctant to go to school,Often get sick suddenly,Decreased value,Items
owned are lost or damage,Nightmares or even difficulty falling asleep.

One of the reasons why bullying in schools is becoming more widespread is because most of the victims are
reluctant to share their experiences with those who have the power to change their way of thinking and stop
the cycle of bullying, namely the school and their parents. Victims keep the bullying they suffer a secret for fear
that the perpetrator will further intensify their bullying. As a result, victims can increasingly absorb the
"philosophy" of bullying that is obtained from their seniors.
Many think that bullying or bullying is only common in high school. However, it turns out that bullying also
often occurs in junior high school and even elementary school. In Indonesia, there are many cases of bullying
among teenagers. Like the case some time ago that happened in Thamrin City. Some junior high school
students persecuted elementary school students. When the victim was interviewed, she admitted that this was
not the first time she had been bullied. It proves that nowadays teenagers often do bullying. Not only in
Indonesia, in Korea some time ago there was also bullying perpetrated by junior high school students against
their peers. Even the bullying caused the victim to bleed because he was hit by a glass bottle by the
perpetrator. Unfortunately, the bullying was also not the first time experienced by the victim and also not the
first bullying committed by the perpetrator.

*) Conclusion/ Recommendation:
Schools are places where children study and where parents believe that their children will be safe there, but in
fact there are still many cases of bullying happening in schools. Minor or severe oppression always leaves a bad
impact, especially on the victims of the oppression. After all, whether it's small or heavy bullying, bullying is still
oppression which is a deviant act. Students must be aware of the badness of bullying so that bullying activities
don't keep happening. Teachers must also remain vigilant about social activities in schools so that unwanted
incidents do not occur.
