I. Objective:
1. Describe the general pattern of structure in connective tissues
2. Classify major connective tissue types
3. Identify examples of connective tissue type in figures and specimens

II. Materials:
1. Unlabeled photos of connective tissue types
2. Prepared slides of the following: (optional)
a. dense fibrous (regular) f. elastic cartilage
b. dense fibrous (irregular) g. fibrocartilage
c. loose fibrous (areolar) h. compact bone
d. adipose tissue i. cancellous bone
e. hyaline cartilage j. blood smear

III. Procedure:
 illustrate and label the different types of connective tissue on the space provided
