BACKGROUND 1.1 Water Supply Project in certain ULBs is being implemented by JUIDCO and executed by selected water connection agencies. IN FIELD eee These agencies appointed by JUIDCO have carried out survey without taking into account existing data base maintained at State portal and further, have not captured holding ID during survey leading to non-integration of water connections with HH data base. 2.2 However, bill is being served by Tax Collection agencies appointed by State for collection of Taxes/Fees and user Charges. This led to overlapping of activities of tax collection agencies and water connection agencies. Water connections provided by these agencies have not been updated on State portal due to which actual water connection of State cannot be identified and moreover water user charges can not be collected by Tax Collection agencies. 3.
