The Vision of Al-Qaeda for the World

"...based on the location of the tower, we estimated the number of enemy fatalities who would be killed
in advance. The floors that will be impacted were estimated to be three or four stories. I was the most
hopeful of them all...based on my previous expertise in this sector, I assumed that the fire from the
aircraft's gas would melt the building's iron framework and collapse just the region where the plane
collided and the floors above it. We had hoped for nothing more than this."

—Osama bin Laden

"This new foe wants to take away our freedom and impose its own beliefs. Terrorists brutally destroy
life that we cherish. We respect education; terrorists think that women should not be educated, should
not have access to health care, and should not leave their homes. We cherish the freedom to express
ourselves; yet, for terrorists, free speech may lead to death. We appreciate individuals of all religions
and encourage the free exercise of religion; our adversary, on the other hand, wants to tell Muslims how
to think and worship."

President George W. Bush, November 8, 2001

Al-Qaeda is a hate-filled organization. They despise progress, freedom, choice, culture, music, and
laughter, as well as women, Christians, Jews, and any Muslims who disagree with their twisted beliefs.
They only care about and revere one thing: power, which they exploit to murder innocent people
without compassion.

We've seen al-vision Qaeda's for the globe in Afghanistan. Al-leadership Qaeda's had considerable
power in Afghanistan and was backed by the Taliban government. The Afghan people have been
brutalized, and many are hungry or fleeing. Women were not permitted to go to school. The mere
possession of a television may result in incarceration. Religion could only be practiced according to their
authorities' wishes. If a man's beard isn't long enough, he may be imprisoned in Afghanistan.

Terrorists affiliated with al-Qaeda think it is permissible to take food intended for hungry families. Al-
ideology Qaeda's is that using innocent people as human shields for military operations is legitimate.
According to al-ideology, Qaeda's oppressing women and condemning them to a life of poverty is
acceptable.
