of your work, and integration with sourcing tools saves you loads of time!

2. Post your jobs to Glassdoor.

3. Respond to both positive and negative

reviews on Glassdoor.
Finding the right job is one of the biggest decisions people make. Therefore
candidates are likely to read at least seven reviews before forming an
opinion of a company.3 By responding to reviews, you show that you care,
putting your best foot forward with top talent.

Among those surveyed, 74% of Glassdoor

users read at least 4 reviews before
forming an opinion of a company.

4. Source internal talent.

Internal mobility can not only improve sourcing qualified talent quickly,
it can also boost your retention. Be sure managers regularly meet with
their employees and notify HR when any employee is open to other
opportunities across the organization.

2X Internal hiring is the easiest, quickest, and

most cost effective way to hire. Hiring
internally (14.7% hire rate) is almost twice as
efficient as hiring referrals (8.5% hire rate).

5. Quickly locate candidate email addresses.

Lever syncs with many top platforms like Connectifier, a free tool through

7. Know top Slack communities to look at

and engage with.
Slack can be a powerful tool to use and leverage when looking to source
top talent, especially if looking to improve diversity and inclusion within
your organization. Channels such as: Women In Tech, Ruby Developers,
TechFam, BIT (Blacks in Tech), and ChiTech are just a few that can be
a great place to start and engage.

Engineers have the lowest response rate, yet are

the 2nd most likely to be hired from sourcing.

8. Host team-wide sourcing jams.

Blocking out time on a regular basis for team-wide sourcing jams can be
a great way to boost morale and share tips and tricks amongst your team
on sourcing techniques that work.

9. Set up regular alerts for top prospects.

Within Lever, you can set alerts that remind you to follow up with sourced
candidates and snooze candidates until they might be ready for outreach
again. This is a great way to track your talent pipeline and not forget about
top talent when the right role comes along.

10. Host successful kickoffs with

hiring managers.
A great relationship with hiring managers will help you source talent
that’s closely aligned with their needs. When you meet with hiring
managers, ask them for top companies they’d like to target for open
roles, define skills that are nice-to-have versus need-to-have, and suggest
remote options if the right talent isn’t located in your area. Showing your
understanding of the marketplace helps you set expectations with hiring
managers while helping you find the right talent.

11. Clone email templates that work.

Frequently audit and A/B test InMails to sourced talent
and save the outreach templates that generate the highest
response and open rates. Lever Nurture reports allow you to look across
every reachout from your team and see which emails have the most
opens, clicks and responses. To incentivize recruiters to test new
messaging on a quarterly basis, reward those on your team who send
the highest performing emails.
