Preparation Copy and cut out cue cards ~ one set for each group, Timing 20-40 minutes Procedure 1. Invite a student to ask you ‘How are you?" Mime ‘Not too good’, to show that it’s bad news, then mime crashing your car to elicit the ‘I've crashed my cat’ sentence. The first student to come up with the sentence gets the card, After the demonstration explain the rules: ‘+ The game starts off with one of the team. asking, ‘How are you?" * The person with the card must be silent and explain the sentence with gestures. ‘+ The first person who says the complete sentence gets the card. 2 Put the students in groups of four or five and give each group a set of cards face down, Students take it in turns to take a card from the top of the pack, to mime and elicit the 3 After all the cards have been completed check who has won (the person with most cards in each team wins). Cut up the cards, then shuffle them all together. Distribute three or four cards to each student.
